President's Report
------------------
- Had Cleanup and Pizza & Beer Night.
 - Both were successful for those that showed up.


Vice-President's Report
-----------------------
- Student until 2015 after changing degree - started in 2007.
- No response from Dom Rose regarding club room move and key permission letter.
  - He's not dealing with anything.
  - New guild president starts 01-11-2009.
  - Discussion about writing an open letter to the Guild regarding concerns about clubroom relocation.


[RVS] arrives.


Treasurer's Report 
------------------
- Scott has completed SOC claim for Semester 2, though it has not been submitted yet.
- Need to get balance.


Secretary's Report
------------------
- There is no mail.
- Locked a few accounts.


Fresher Rep's Report

- No report.


Machine Technical Reports
-------------------------
Servers:
- Disk in meersau tested ok.
- Increased number of disks in martello.
 - There is now one extra disk in the raid array for automatic failover.
 - Size of /home was increased.
- Backups failing because we can't fit all data onto tape.
- Power in racks is now tidier.

Network:
- Resnet 40MB trial over, now back on 20MB.
- This caused some connections to drop yesterday.
- Aarnet pricing may apparently change.

Desktops:
- No changes.

Appliances:
- No changes.

New Equipment:
- No changes.


Drinks and Snacks
-----------------
- Plenty of drinks.
- Snacks getting low, but it's end of semester and snacks may expire.


Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- No mail.
- Some more rambling about open letter to the Guild mentioned earlier.
  - Now is the best time to secure promises from the new Guild committee.
  - First thing we need to do next year is get SOC and Guild Presidents up here to show them what's up.
  - [AHC] talks about pointing out to the Guild how average SOC has been.
    - Want to sort stuff out by O'Day.


Action Items

- [DJA] to find out cost of printing polo shirts and prepare an email to ucc mailing list about pricing and preorders.
 - Not done.

- [LOL] to measure the blind and pass dimensions on to [AHC].
 - Not done.
 - Tape measure may have been stolen.

- [MRD] will investigate pricing for a first aid kit.
 - Done, $30-$40 for a first aid kit.

- [DAA] to organise getting the key out for UCC and UNISFA over the weekend.
 - Done.

- [DAA] to ammend the coke group policy on the web site and make the LOLCAT test available.
 - Done.


General Business
----------------
- [RVS] : Locking of the following accounts: spook, adrian, theodore, tinman.
  - Ashley, Scott, [CHZ] and a few others came up from the Tav after the Pizza & Beer Night.
  - Ashley started using [AHC]'s account, which had been left logged in.
  - He got told to stop and didn't.
  - Ashley set the desktop background to goatse and then logged out.
  - [RVS] then locked Ashley and [AHC]'s accounts.
  - [CHZ] then logged out about 5 minutes later and explained he had done the same thing to Scott.
  - [RVS] then locked [CHZ] and Scott's accounts.
  - [DAA] moves to unlock these accounts, 4 for, 1 abstains, passed.

- [LOL] : Holiday meetings
  - When will we have them?
  - [LOL] starts 9-to-5 work next week
  - Monthly meetings proposed as holidays don't usually have large agendas.
    - A night or weekend meeting if anything major comes up.
  - [LOL] moves to have a monthly meetings, [DAA] seconds, unanimous.

- [LAW] : machine room survey for TCG (due today!)
 - [MRD] suggests renaming Machine Room to large cupboard.
 - [RVS] suggests heat producing room.
 - [MRD] to fill out and send back to the guild.
