Or maybe [ECF] broke it. VP wrote letters. Nowhere to print them now. VP waiting for responses from hotels re: sponsorship. Treasurers report: Treasurer hates commerce assignments. $278.70 banked this week (there were less m/ships & vending machine wasn't emptied). [NRR] and [MTL] went to FAL $319.65 worth. CDR's 10 for $23, selling for $3 each (from Jaycar). Budget claims: next week! Correspondance report: Mail in: New Scientist - now on coffee table Between Lines ("alternative official newsletter of ACS WA") IDC (conferences/workshops on "power quality" etc) Machine reports: We have scarlet now. Replacement HDDs would be $400-500. [WAZ] is retrieving Adrian's WinChip box from the [in camera]. Celeron quote is to be hurried up - TODAY! Up to $2000. General business: Survey. VP declares Yakk is f**ng useless. Indigo2, O2, mouse and monitor cables will come soon-ish. [WAZ] leaves. [SAM] arrives. [TAM] arrives and tells us of interesting discussion with Robyn Owens. ("why don't you like the iMacs? is it because they're not pink?") Survey filled out by all present committee (all but Yakk). Beer & Pizza - posters should go up NOW! Tickets are being photocopied. Yakk better have organized the pizza, if he doesn't then [MEL] thinks we should move a vote of no confidence in him. Committee have approved spending club money on pizza if Yakk doesn't manage it. Advertising for person who was giving us the pizza was to go on back but [YAK] has not arranged details. Coke group: [WAZ] wanted to join coke group. Approved. [DES] rang up and was ignored. Re-imbursing JP for fake Krone tool approved. [MEL] discussed threats from Emmanuel through Kristy with Delphine. The clubroom was discussed and does not seem to be a problem. We should try and officially get access to unused cupboards. As UCC and UniSFA are the only clubs using the corridor, we should not worry about this since both clubs are in agreement about the state of the corridor. Vending machine and coke machine in corridor are fine, and as long as we don't have a contract with any company to re-fill the machines the guild has no policy or problems with it. [YAK] and [MEL] replied to Emmanuel and Kristy regarding the vending machine and they have responded that we have already talked to Delphine. [DES] arrives. [MEL] flees the smell. Account locking. In general accounts should not be unlocked except by the person who locked it, unless that person has sent a message about it. [DES] his own account after discussing with [SAF]. This was bad. [YAK] also shouldn't have decided to lock his accont for so long with no consultation. However this is all more relevant for a wheel meeting. [post-meeting] president alias should be changed to president-private and president should go to exec. Some committee were not present so this will be discussed next week.
