Events
======
- WebDev night
  - Was held on Monday the 28th
  - Run by [ODF] (better known as JVB)
  - Attended by [LDT]
  - [LDT]:
    - I was feeling inspired, I learned a lot
    - That being said, there was a very high tutor to tutee ratio
    - May not be significantly scalable with just JVB
    - Need more supervisors to upscale the event
    - Was actually a good learning event though
    - Subsequently attempted to apply the knowledge to an outside context but
failed, maybe with a little more work I can call it a skill
    - Future idea: UCC makes a metal boy event aka "learn to robot"
    - Suggestions are: make it an arduino event
    - Combine various arduino junk into a ardunio object

- Hearthstone Tournament
  - Being run by CY
  - Slated for Jan 6th or 7th
  - He is in contact with [CHS] and [EAR] to help him get it up and running

- LARP
  - Is happening
  - Jan 11th
  - Liam wants a hand with running the event
  - [LDT] to assist [CHS] with organisation

- [EAR] wants to run a tournament with Riot backing early next year
  - Probably an all day tournament
  - After midsems probably
  - Want to get Redbull involved

Action Items
============
- [SOS], [HYT] and [CHS] to email guild about website

- [JMA] and [CHS] to order mouse pads
  - All images were prepped earlier this week, and will be ordered after
    meeting

- [TBB] to upload library to wiki
  - [TBB] is in Japan

- [JMA] and [CHS] to purchase marquee
  - Awaiting graphic design results

- Committee to discuss education events for the period Between exams and O-Week
  - See Events, but unlikely to happen before semester begins

- [LDT] and [DJF] to look into new mice not working
  - Done
  - We have 1 that works
  - We have 1 that is absolutely borked, may have never worked from the start
  - Mouse number three is MIA
  - [LDT] did contact MSY, they said they'd work something out
  - [LDT] to pack everything up and tell [SAS] what to do

- [DJF] to reimburse [TBB] for sausage sizzle
  - Probably done?

General Business
================
- [BOB]: Permission to cut a hole in the top of the snack machine for no particular reason
  - [JMA] really doesnt want "wheel" to cut a hole in the snack machnine
  - Committee gets into an argument about defines a refridgerator
  - Something something convections
  - [JMA]: have you been inside the vending machine
  - Many of present committee would really like a plan to be made
  - [CHS]: please bring someone relatively fresh and take photographs
  - [LDT] proposes that permission be granted given that the hole is cut and
the unit is attached on the same day
  - [LDT] also would like to investigate the convective properties of the
    vending machine using dry ice
    - [EAR] is keen join him
  - Dry Ice experiments to be done next Saturday, probably
  - After the dry ice tests are done;
  - Committee gives permission to [BOB] pending some kind of project outline
and timeline on a wiki page, please also take photos and bring a new friend

- [BOB]: Approve up to $170 for assorted laser cutting, spray paint, and fasteners...for no particular reason (likely to come in around $120)
  - Subject to same condition as above, sure

- [NTU]: Buy a couple of Core-i7 8GiB 1TB iMacs? $250 each, 1 per person, Monday morning. https://maillists.uwa.edu.au/mailman/private/trading-list/2016-December/034395.html
  - [TPG]: Arguments for the above: Having a mac is good for CS students/devs, having two gives us redundancy.
  - $250 sounds really really good, but we can't access that link
  - Also, none of committee are available on Monday morning, uh-oh
  - [CHS] to follow up with [NTU] and get details
  - [CHS] moves to budget $600 for two iMacs as stated above, assuming the
    deals is as stated (legit)
    - [SAS] seconds
    - [JMA] questions where they would go
    - One would replace Napoli and the other would replace likely Porcupine
    - Passes unanimously

- Meetings for the rest of the holidays
  - [CHS] is absent from the 14th to 31st
  - Committee discusses when they'll be available to meet
  - Committee meetings were decided to continue through December, with the
    exception of Friday the 23rd
