President's Report
------------------
- Updated the UCC timeline, thanks to those people who contributed for between 2002 and 2009
- Cleaned out the filing cabinet, threw out lots of old stuff that we no longer needed
- Sent out email regarding the clubroom reorganisation
  - Some concerns were voiced with regards to lack of asking for feedback,
    this seems a little unfair to [BOB]
    - More on this issue in general business
- Ordered the new ARM box
  - No ETA yet, coming from USA
- Ordered the two screens for the new clubroom machines
  - Should arrive within next week
- Emailed Science Union president about swapping filing cabinets with them
  - We will get two half cabinets for our full one

Vice-President's Report

- Quotes for fibre or CAT6 sent to tech@ last night
  - We will get a fibre optic breakout tray
  - Another option is using a pre-terminated fibre cable given we already have
    the connectors
- There was a power outage this afternoon caused by work on the fire panel
- Investigating a Cameron Hall Christmas Party at Scitech
  - Is relatively expensive

- Received camp bill, left to pay $1,145
  - Made a little bit of a loss from the camp

  - Time to stop buying chocolate stuff, they melt

General Business
----------------
 - [ODF] reports that Unigames says thanks to UCC for contributing to the
 Charity Vigil
   - Vigil raised approximately $940 overall for Child's Play
- [BOB] reimburse me for the new can crusher please, $32.50, receipt sent to committee-only
  - [LOL] seconds. Unanimous.
- [BOB] security for new boxes
  - Compulock will cost up to $200 for the new machines
  - [LOL] seconds. 6 for, 1 abstain. Motion passed.
  - For future purchases we should consider the cost of security along with
    the machine
- [TPG] Reimburse TPG for coke run ($187.88)
  - Covered under weekly expenses
- [LAW]: [BOB] to send an apology to [CHZ] and re-invite him to the dinner
  - [BOB] apologises for blurring the line between club and personal opinions
  - [DJA] moves that [CHZ]'s account be `unlocked', [LOL] seconds. 
    - Keep locked for the fact that membership has lapsed rather than for his
      actions
    - 5 for, 1 against, 1 abstain. Motion passed.
- [LAW] Also, inappropriate use of committee-only to exclude ordinary members from club business until committee have a chance to make an official decision
  - We would like to remember that the committee-only@ list should only be
    used for confidential issues.
  - [LOL] notes that the list has been generally used pretty little this year
    and in an appropriate manner. Will keep an eye on it.
- [DJA] would like to voice his concerns with regards to being named by [BOB]
  for having unsatisfactory conduct by raising issue with the lack of request
  for feedback for the clubroom re-arrangement.
  - [DJA] and [ASH] did miss last week's meeting
  - Issue is not with what [BOB] was doing, but rather how he was going about
    it
    - It is unreasonable to expect people to respond immediately
    - As a club, the opinions of committee are not the only opinions that
      matter, we should indeed care about the opinions of members in general
  - [BOB] argues that in the past, changes have occurred and no-one has
    complained
    - Has previously not directly asked for opinions, and member's voiced
      their opinions anyway
    - Committee had previously approved the clubroom changes
  - Members are always welcome to comment on things on the lists
    - If they have an issue with committee decisions, they are invited to
      email the committee list or talk to a committee member
  - In future emails relating to committee decisions should invite for
    feedback from members
    - Should be phrased as 'we would like to...' rather than 'this is going to
      happen...'

Current Action Items
