President's Report
------------------
- Quiz Night is on May 20th.
  - Tickets at printer, will be here on friday.
  - If you want to reserve a spot, email committee-only@.
- If you work for a company and want to sponsor us, please email
  committee-only@ to let us know.
- Email sent to ucc-announce about finding an expert for insurance.
- UCC LAN tentative date May 29th.
- Having an end of semester event of some sort.
- Drafting letter to Emma Greeny with regards to other clubs behaviour in
  Cameron Hall.
- Organised cleaners to remove the human fecal matter.  


Vice-President's Report

- Did his last law assignment for the semester, woo!
- Done work on LOLDOG.
- Done work on prog. comp.
- Looking at organising a Google Code Jam event.


Treasurer's Report
------------------
- $2514.29 is the balance
- Purchased three screens for approx. $600
- Still yet to receive ODay grant.

- Checked mail, there was none.


Fresher Rep's Report

- Freshers are happy.
- Don't know how happy they will be with "poo-poo" in the sink.


Machine Technical Reports

Servers:
- We have them.
- We lost Maraena for an hour thanks to [TRS] accidently switching it off.

Network:
- Down for about 12 hours on Thursday.
  - Packet shapers were playing up.
- [DAA] is working on UCCsec.
- Serial consol now working, thanks [DAA].

Desktops:
- Fixing machine dontated by [SJY].
- Project bench computer has appeared, named Pluto. Has the old coblet disks.

New Equipment:
- Three new LCD screens, waiting on security.
- We have a new rack, thanks [BOB] and [RVS].
- New switches have arrived!
  - Name is coconut. Taking over Lorenzo's role.
  - Another switch in the next couple of weeks. Name will be Palm.
  - Thanks to [DAA] for tweaking [MRD]'s config.


Drinks and Snacks
-----------------
- We need snacks.
  - [TPG] to go on snack run.
  - Reminder that not just committee/coke members can go on coke runs. In
    fact, you get lots of brownie points for doing so. Hint, hint.
- Have plenty of drinks.


Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- No mail.
- SOC meeting this Thursday.
  - [CJS] and/or [BOB] to attend meeting.


Action Items

General Business

- [BOB]  Confirmation of approval to buy 3 Samsung P2250 LCD screens @$205 each
  - [LOL] seconds, passed unanimously.
- [MRD] Refund [MRD] $250 for purchase of 2x Cisco 2948G-GE-TX switches
  - [LOL] seconds, passed unanimously.
- [DJA] Purchase 1 printer for clubroom use.
  - Hold off on purchase, wait to see where insurance goes.
- [BOB] action someone to deal with getting a cert for uccsec
  - [DAA] is handling this, see Network.
- [DJA] LOLDOG
  - Already dealt with.
- [BOB]'s "mate" wants to purchase some 40Gb to 100Gb HDDs from the club.
  - Offer to sell them for 15c per Gb.
  - Have to ensure the discs are completely wiped.
  - [TPG] seconds, 2 for, 3 against, 2 abstain.
- SGM to be held on May 10th, email secretary@ for any business you would like
  discussed
- Monday at the Movies, [LOL] wants to start it up again on the 17th of May
  - [BOB] has been looking into projectors for the club.
