President's Report

- Nothing to report.


Treasurer's Report
------------------
- Quoted balance from Guild Finance is $2991, thanks [MRD].
- We have two PABX bills and one Resnet bill:
 - Resnet: $82.50,
 - PABX in September: $22.83,
 - PABX in October: $22.28.
- [SJY] to pay bills.


Secretary's Report
------------------
- Checked the mail a couple of times in the last two weeks.
 - There was mail that [SJY] has mentioned.
 - Membership form and a cheque for $25 from Rob Slaughter.


Fresher Rep's Report

- Exams (effectively) over. Hooray! Also, Halo is fun.
- Now looking towards next year - e.g. t-shirts, fresher guide.


Machine Technical Reports

Servers:
- This weekend there will be downtime, see mailing list for details.
 - /home is being resized.
- Anonymous CVS checkout is broken.

Network:
- Nothing to report.

Desktops:
- Nothing to report.

Appliances:
- Nothing to report.

New Equipment:
- There's an enormous and useless kiosk, 'pinball', sitting in the clubroom.
 - Used to be in centrelink.


Drinks and Snacks

- [MRD] bought some drinks and snacks, the coke machine was filled again. Receipts are in safe.
 - [RVS] moves to reimburse [MRD] for the value on the receipts, unanimous.
- Snacks are running a bit low.

Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- Mail was received, see Treasurer and Secretary's reports.


Action Items
------------
- [M12] to email UniSFA and UCC lists about volunteer to hold key over Christmas break.
 - No report.
 - [RVS] volunteers to hold the key over the summer break, nobody is opposed.

General Business

- [MRD] : Reimburse [MRD] $111.71 for paint, painting eqipment and miscelanous items required to clean up clubroom mess, [DJA] seconds, unanimous.
- [MRD] : Organising printing of both polo shirts and t-shirts before O-Day 2010 (preferably well before).
 - [DJA] to find out cost of printing polo shirts and prepare an email to ucc mailing list about pricing and preorders.
 - Some rambling about sponsorship.
- [MRD] : Responsibilities of door members with regards to cleanliness of room.
 - Extensive rambling about door policy.
- [HMC] : Reimburse $119 for magilamp; now delivered for [BOB] hardware bench setup (still have reciept).
 - [CJS] moves to reimburse [HMC] upon presentation of the receipt, [RVS] seconds, unanimous.
- [BOB] : Wishes to be named guardian of the tool cupboard.
 - [RVS] moves to create the officer position Guardian of the Tool Cupboard which has no extra privileges than being an ordinary member, and to name [BOB] Guardian of the Tool Cupboard, [LOL] seconds, 5 for, 1 abstaining.
- [DJA] : Blind for window: One of the 'wheels' is broken - refer to [AHC], [BOB] for details.
 - [LOL] to measure the blind and pass dimensions on to [AHC].
- [BOB] : Can we apply to soc council for a clubroom improvement grant, ie paint, couches, blinds?
 - [SJY] doesn't think this is possible, but it can't hurt to ask.
- [DJA] : I move that, "UCC buy pizza for those attending the November 14th cleanup."
 - [RVS] seconds, all for.
- [BOB] : Add a new first aid kit to the clubroom improvement grant list.
 - [MRD] will investigate pricing for a first aid kit.
- [DJA] : Key for cleanup.
 - Unisfa also has an event on this weekend.
 - [DAA] to organise getting the key out for UCC and Unisfa over the weekend.
- [VOX] : Renaming the officer position Guardian of the Tool Cupboard to Head Tool.
 - [LOL] seconds, all opposed.
- [VOX] : Add me to the coke group.
 - [VOX] makes a statement.
 - [VOX] moves to add [VOX] to the coke group pending his successful completion of the LOLCAT test, [DJA] seconds, unanimous.
- [MRD] : Add me to the coke group.
 - [MRD] moves to add [MRD] to the coke group pending his successful completion of the LOLCAT test, [LOL] seconds, unanimous.
- [DAA] moves to change coke policy to require anyone applying for coke demonstrate their aptitude in using the dispense system by completing the LOLCAT test.
 - [RVS] seconds, unanimous.
 - [DAA] to ammend the coke group policy on the web site and make the LOLCAT test available.

Current Action Items
