President's Report
------------------
- Quiet week for me, nothing much to report.


Secretary's Report
------------------
- We have no mail.
- I suspect our mail is building up somewhere between the senders and us and that we'll receive a lot of mail and overdue bills in a week or two when it finally gets through.


Fresher Rep's Report
--------------------
- We have some new mid year freshers.
- Said freshers are active.
- The freshers appear to be happy.


Machine Technical Reports

Servers:
- [LAW] has set up a new VMWare server called sophocles, see email to tech@ucc for more information.
- 100% fewer fork bombs this week.

Desktops:
- cephalopod is now dual-booting again (Ubuntu Intrepid/Windows XP).
- sidderrog a Sun Blade 150 is up running Debian, though the monitor is dodgy.

Appliances:
- phytochrome (A3 inkjet printer) is resisting attempts by [BOB] to make it work.

Drinks and Snacks
-----------------
- We are out of coke, and running low on snacks and other drinks.
- [M12] did not go on coke run.
- [BOB] has offered to go on coke run on Monday.


[DAA] arrives.


Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- No mail.
- Nothing to report.


Action Items
------------
- [M12] to go on snack run on Monday.
 - Not done, redelegated to [BOB].

- [CJS] to notify users with unpaid accounts about the impending account lock.
 - In progress.

- [DAA] to follow up Cameron Hall renovation plans, with [LOL] and Amber from UniSFA.
 - Not done.

- [M12] to email ucc@ with the details of the above rambling discussion to assess if people are interested.
 - Done, consensus is that $100 bucks is too much.

- [M12] to contact UCCTalk presenters to find an appropriate time for these lectures.
 - No report.


General Business
----------------
- [MRD] : Locking of Sam Spencer [CHZ] (theodore)'s account.
 - Two people reported to [MRD] that [CHZ] had thrown mouse balls from Sun mice away.
 - [MRD] then locked his account as per account locking guidelines.
 - Later it was discovered that Sam had only hidden these mouse balls.
 - [RVS] moves to unlock [CHZ]'s account, [DAA] seconds, 3 for, 1 abstains, 1 against, motion passed.
 

[CHZ] leaves.


- [CHZ] : Charity vigil representative.
 - [CHZ] has stepped down from the position of charity vigil representative for UCC.
 - [RVS] moves to elect himself onto the position of charity vigil representative, [LOL] seconds, 4 for, 1 abstains, motion passed.
 - [RVS] to report on charity vigil.


[LAW] arrives.


- [CHZ] : We need more bandwidth.
 - Alternatives were discussed, a consensus was reached that the current connection is alright for people who aren't willing to pay for more bandwidth.
 - Other options will require assistance from wheel.

- [RVS] : Julian Thomas for door.
 - [RVS] moves to add Julian Thomas to door group, nobody seconds.

[FEL] : UCC to buy 3 new vesa mount brackets to secure the thin terms. $32 Each.
 - [LOL] moves for [FEL] to buy these mount brackets, [DAA] seconds, all for.


[VOX] leaves.


[LOL] : Reimburse susie for the 6 keys for $30 that she cut for the machine room.
 - [CJS] seconds, all for.

[FEL] : Permission to buy some wood and small things totally the value of $15 from bunnings to make a exaust vent for the new aircon?
 - [RVS] moves to purchase these things, [LOL] seconds, 3 for, 2 abstain, motion passed.


[JCF] arrives.
[DAA] leaves.


[FEL] : Funs to create a Movable crane that goes arround UCC from the loft. $80 to get some test materials to do this. Also to make this an official UCC project.
 - [JCF] suggests the club not purchase these materials since the clubroom will likely move in ~1 year.
 - [FEL] moves to purchase these materials, [RVS] seconds, 1 for, 2 against, 1 abstains, motion failed.

[FEL] : Mitch for coke - email sent.
 - [RVS] seconds, all for, motion passed.


Current Action Items
