President's Report
------------------
- No meeting last week, I'm very disappointed in you all, even those of you who came. Five points from Gryffindor. 
- Business school may be still looking to offload lots computers. Maybe we could get some of those instead of these more expensive workstations.
- There was a LAN which scraped the lower limit of acceptable attendance. Didn't end up charging because of low attendance


Vice-President's Report

- New desktops needed
- LAN was a failure

Treasurer's Report
------------------
- We have $2 610.09 after emptying the cashbox and paying the bills. bur.st owes us $241.52.
- SOC claims form submitted, which included claims for $964.92 in drinks, $23.68 in miscellaneous expenses, $266.80 in pizza, $666.11 in snacks, $1 508.10 in AARNet/Resnet expenses and $142.19 in phone bills.
- We are currently not making enough money from drinks and snacks to cover the cost of our bills.

Secretary's Report

- Checked mail the other day, stuff is in my pigeon hole cause I couldn't remember which one was the committee one.
- Emailed Wembley hotel to get pricing information on their function rooms, waiting for reply. (Dinner)

Machine Technical Reports

Servers:
- We have them
- Manduba: 
	> Could probably be turned on, is no longer being taken by Arts
	> [DAA] and [TRS] have plans to run GNOME buildbot stuff if it goes back into the machine room, or to put it on the clubroom VLAN and leave it outside the machine room. [DAA] and [TRS] to sort it out.
- Martello:
	> Over heated when the aircon froze up. 
	> Lost a disk in the RAID array, seagate. [TRS] to get replacement

Network:
- Were troubles with resnet. Over now.
- SNAP is being unreliable but has settled
- Still not completely stable but could be as good as it gets
- Switch back to bright and see how it goes

Desktops:
- Lupine is broken, currently being fixed, [ROW] *politely* requests that less is installed on it next time.
- combtail is down (or not down??) 
- Have very few functional windows boxes.
- [FEL] can supply a few p4s for free. [NTU] to arrange.
- Business school trying to get rid of "1-4 year old Pentium 4 whiteboxes". Depending on price, could get a few and keep some spare in storage for when one breaks.

Appliances:
- New aircon installed. Thanks [DAA]. Now have two.

Drinks and Snacks

Mail, Guild and SOC

- Should try to make sure mail is checked occasionally over break!
- No more SOC meetings for the year
