   for future cleanups, we should be using the wiki more

 - we have them
 - SJC has brought in a monitor and changed some speakers so that they have
   headphone jacks
 - in short, we threw out a whole heap of stuff, and acquired a new heap of
   stuff
 - GMB put the thinterms faster GeForce back, it needs new RAM

Buy more ram for velvet: passed
ACTION: SJC to buy RAM for velvet, will chat with TRS

 - AHC set up a FreeBSD/Sparc64 box
 - we have retro serial terms, they have problems at high speeds
 - door server is working again for some given value of working
 - Jabber now talks to other Jabber (you can now get the status of the doors
   in Google Talk/Gmail)
 - Melanopus is busted, investigations have not occurred
