Opened: 1:13pm

President:

- UCCLan was good. Bazookas in Stalingrad are good anti-personnel.
- Spend far too long cleaning up - next time need other people to
  clean up.

VP:

- Everything all good.

Treasurer:

- Handed out membership forms at UCCLAN
- $3322 in bank, minus ~700 for switch.

Secretary:

- Myra is slack - was prodded several times to get a nightpass for UCCLAN,
  but in the end had to just talk nicely to security on the night. Hence no
  correspondence.
- FAL run.

Drinks/snacks:

- Have lots.
- Still need filling though.
- DAG says leave vending machine key in cashbox.

Machines:

- We have some
- Lots of DEC Crap from ACS (+ scsi apple cdrom)
- (sidetrack - discuss methods of future machine acquisition)

General Business:

- Dinner places to be discussed on list

(VEL arrives)

- SJH says we should move the TV upstairs. Seconded by PXY
  Takes up space, blocks accessways, no other places to put it.
  Makes bad sounds, people get generally annoyed, high pitch noise
  is annoying.
  RME says the TV is crap and won't get stolen, GameCube could, is a hassle
  to move it. TRS says isn't really any more secure downstairs (though is at
  least in sight). Can try security cables/padlock etc
  Passed unanimously.

- VEL suggests new event for UCC: Bachelor of the year, auction them off
  GMB moves TRS for UCC Bachelor of the yr, seconded by people
  To be done at UCCCamp

- PXY suggests Murphy's Lore - a UCC newsletter.
  GMB says we need one enthusiatic person who isn't going to use LaTeX, then
  get people to write random stuff.

- PXY got quotes for thinclients, $480 for nforce systems, $560 for
  celerons. (ZAR+MSH tried making ZAR's nforce board work, but it wasn't
  happy, will try stuff later).
