FOOD - [BCQ] will organise - will approve expenditure next meeting Wireless IP - card and bridge will cost around $400 - PCI -> PMCIA bridge, plus 11mbps PMCIA card - If we want, we can buy a connector for ~$90-100 and build an aerial - we have $200 in pledges in one day - wait another week for more pledges O-Day blurb - guild o-day handbook needs one off us - [TRS] will rehash the old one Meeting closed at 6:24pm Meeting re-opened at 6:24pm Rcpt.to bill - from Oct '97 to Aug '00 calculated to be $589.79 - [YAK] will organise billing - future billing arangements (how, when, who) will be discussed at another time. - possible solutions: a rcpt.to coke account, which when negative will cause rcpt.to co-located boxes to lose connectivity; a representative from rcpt.to around the clubroom lots to act as the money man for the cabal. [addition [GMB] This was more of a joke. I think the real idea was to have emails sent out when it went negative. I don't think anything so drastic is needed, considering the rcpt.to people didn't try to avoid paying for the traffic they've used so far. The representative thing needs to be discussed. Some people raised concerns that it's quite possible nobody in rcpt.to will be on committee next year. I think it's much fuss about nothing - UCC doesn't need to organise rcpt.to paying bills, they're more than smart enough to arrange it for themselves. ] Meeting closed at 6:30pm
